Surgical Pillars & Patient Philosophy
Whenever anatomically viable, native valve leaflets and cords are reconstructed rather than replaced, preserving ventricular function and freeing patients from lifelong blood thinners.
Utilizing bilateral internal mammary arteries for coronary revascularization, achieving graft patency exceeding 90% at 20 years, dramatically superior to standard saphenous vein grafts.
Keyhole mini-thoracotomy and robotic consoles preserve the breastbone completely, minimizing pain, blood transfusion needs, and enabling discharge in just 2 to 4 days.
Every patient and their family receive clear, unhurried reviews of angiograms and echocardiograms, understanding every option and risk profile clearly.
